After reading a number of positive testimonials about dealing with Generations Heating and AC I feel compelled to both agree 100% and add my own personal experience. Generations installed our AC unit nearly 11 years ago and were by far the best company we had ever dealt with for any HVAC related product/service throughout the years and numerous Homes. They were extremely knowledgeable, very patient in explaining all aspects of the purchase and very competitive on pricing even offering a larger and superior AC unit at a better cost than 3 other big name competitors in the KW market. Additionally; their Installation team was incredibly efficient, courteous and conscientious in every way imaginable. The AC worked flawlessly and performed perfectly for over 11 years.
Fast forward to a warm evening in 2022. Woke up to AC not kicking in. Called Generations and Sydney said someone would be out the next morning first thing. Just as promised Rob arrived 10 minutes early and within 30 minutes ran a complete check, changed the blown capacitor and had us up and running again. Once again the experience was a pleasure and the cost was more than reasonable. I do not normally take the time to write testimonials but in an industry where people are so dependent upon professionals and you truly are at the mercy of the Company you deal with and their integrity and competence. Trust me and the others who go on and on about Generations. You will truly never regret it! Thanks GENERATIONS

Generations Heating and Air Conditioning is one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, they are respectful, punctual and honest. They were straightforward with what they thought we needed at our house and didn’t add on all sorts of extras like other companies we have dealt with.
Tim told us they install equipment the way that they would install it into their own home and WOW is that ever true. You can see the amount of pride they take on their installs with all equipment and lines being meticulously and professionally placed in areas that make sense.

Since we have been in Cambridge Tim, Scott, and their employees have been fantastic. They have installed gas lines, pool heaters and a mini split ac in our loft and serviced all our gas equipment. They have always been kind and when our ac mini split had a minor issue they were incredibly patient with us and did whatever they could to help. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

After our gas fireplace stopped working and another company told us that the repair would be $700+ and it still may not work and we should just replace it for $3-4000. We called Generations, and Tim came out promptly, was friendly and professional, and had our fireplace up and running within minutes. He didn’t even need to replace any parts, and gave it a nice cleaning while he was here. It’s like we have a new fireplace for the cost of a service call! We are so grateful to have found a company that is willing to repair things instead of just pushing us to buy new. We will definitely call Generations again!

Generations Heating and Air Conditioning has done extensive work in my home over the past few years on two furnaces, an air exchange system and an air conditioner. Under the direction of Tim Carpenter, the whole team is pleasant, personable and committed to excellence in all of the work they do. After being with one of the large HVAC companies for years, this is such a treat and has made my life considerably easier. Thanks again for the service call to fix our furnace last week. I can’t tell you how impressed I was to see you in action…From the time you walked into our home until you left you were constantly looking at, evaluating,repairing and optimizing our heating and cooling system. Not only did you fix and optimize our furnace under warranty but you also went the extra mile to identify and repair a disconnected humidity control and a leaking return air connection to our HRV system. All this you did on a 2 hour service call! You are officially on my list of preferred service providers!
